Fishing
Killarney boasts of one of the most unique fishing areas in Ontario. We offer many very distinct habitats, from sheltered and secluded back water bays, to wild rice shorelines with long weed beds combined with dramatic drop-offs. Numerous shoal areas and reefs hide many different species of fish in our cool clean waters. Off shore the extremely contoured bottom can reach down to 400 feet, but by contrast, the back channels and protected inlets of Killarney provide miles of secure and safe small craft fishing. Big Waters produce Big Fish!

Canoe/Kayak
Explore Killarney the way the Voyagers did!
By canoe - still the most popular mode of travel - the path of the paddle beckons the traditional paddler, the lilly-dipper and the open water enthusiast. The clear lakes of the Killarney Interior are the bluest you've ever seen! And the safe turquoise passages of the North Shore are a delight to any canoeist.
By sea kayak - outside park boundaries you can enjoy the pristine waters of North Georgian Bay, or you can enjoy seclusion on an isolated island along the shore. Still relatively unexplored, our Georgian Bay provides unparalleled paddling amongst pink granite outcrops, windswept pines and quartzite hills.
